Which glasses are insured?

Prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses from children up to the age of 15 are covered.

The glasses are insured against loss, breakage and theft. In the event of damage to the frame, the spectacles will be repaired, if not possible exchanged. If the spectacles need to be replaced the design of the new frame may vary.

Duration of insurance?

The insurance lasts for one year and begins on the day of pick-up.

What is not covered by the insurance?

• Excepted from the insurance are sale frames
• The insurance does not apply to everyday wear and tear. The insurance also does not apply if another insurance is responsible (example: liability of a polluter)
• The insurance is valid once a year.
• Further losses and damages are not insured.

Amount of insurance sum?

The costs will be paid up to CHF 400.-. Additional costs are included in the deductible.
